How do I book a court?

Sign in to the website and pick a slot on the booking page. Members can book any open hour at no extra cost; non-members buy a Block of 4 hours and redeem them across any available pay-as-you-play slots.

Why do non-members have to buy a Block of 4?

It keeps the club's admin simple and matches our published court-usage policy. You don't have to use the four hours in one go — spread them across days, courts and players however you like, within 90 days of purchase.

How much does membership cost?

Annual membership is £410 per person and gives you unlimited court use during member hours, with no per-hour or per-court fees on top.

What are your opening hours?

Members can play 8am–8pm for most of the year (8am–10pm from June to September), 8am–9pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays. We are closed on Saturdays. Pay-as-you-play hours for non-members are listed on the booking page.

Why are you closed on Saturdays?

Saturdays are reserved out of respect for Shabbat in our local Golders Green community. The courts are open and bookable every other day of the week.

Can children play?

Yes — juniors are very welcome. Under-16s play at a 50% discount during pay-as-you-play hours and must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Question 7

Are tennis balls and rackets provided?

No — please bring your own rackets and balls. A fresh tube of balls is recommended for matches.

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Payments are made by UK bank transfer at least 12 hours before play. Once your booking is created we send the bank details and a unique reference by email. Unpaid bookings may be cancelled.

How far ahead do I need to book?

Please give at least 24 hours' notice via the website (or by texting or emailing the club) so we can make sure the courts are unlocked and ready for you.

Can I cancel or change a booking?

Yes — sign in and cancel from My bookings. For non-member redemptions the hour is automatically returned to your Block of 4. To change the time, cancel and rebook the slot you want.

Do you give refunds?

Member fees and Block of 4 packs are non-refundable, but unused hours stay on your account for 90 days from purchase. If the club has to cancel a booking for weather or maintenance we'll always rebook or return the hour.

What happens if it rains?

Our all-weather courts drain quickly, so most bookings go ahead. If conditions are genuinely unplayable we'll contact you to reschedule, and your hour is returned to your account.

Are there floodlights for evening play?

Yes — both tennis courts have floodlights for darker evenings, included in your member hours or pay-as-you-play booking.

What is the MUGA?

The Multi-Use Games Area is an additional surface alongside the tennis courts, suitable for mini-tennis, junior coaching and netball. It can be booked separately for groups and parties.

Can I block-book the courts for a school or group?

Yes — get in touch by email or phone and we'll arrange a school or group rate that suits the size and frequency of your sessions.

Can members bring guests?

Accepted Answer

Members are welcome to bring guests during their booked hour. We just ask that you stay on court with your guests and that everyone follows the court rules.

Will my booking ever be moved?

We do our best to leave bookings alone, but we reserve the right to move an individual booking in the rare event of a block booking taking priority. You'll always be contacted in advance.

How do I get to the club and where do I park?

We're at St Andrews Road, London NW11 0PJ — a short walk from Golders Green station and several local bus stops. On-street parking is available nearby, subject to local restrictions.
